Easy Teriyaki Salmon Recipe: 30 Minutes to Deliciousness

This easy teriyaki salmon is sweet, savory, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat. Remove salmon from marinade and reserve the marinade.
  4. Cook salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. In a small pot, combine reserved marinade. Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the pot. Cook until thickened.
  6. Drizzle sauce over cooked salmon.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

  • Serve with rice or vegetables.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Use skinless or skin-on salmon as preferred.
