- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add beef slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard.
- Return beef to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Use tender cuts of beef for best results.
- Do not boil after adding sour cream to prevent curdling.
- For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the sauce.
