- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half the potato slices in the dish.
- Sprinkle half the garlic, salt, pepper, and cheeses.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes and seasonings.
- Pour the heavy cream evenly over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes until golden.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
- Let the dish rest to set before cutting.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
