Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth and thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Mix in cooked rice, broccoli, and half of the shredded cheese.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
