- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth and thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix in cooked rice, broccoli, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen broccoli.
- Adjust cheese quantity to taste.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
