- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the cooked ground beef into the cheese mixture.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the dish and top with remaining marinara sauce.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Use cooked shells to prevent them from breaking.
- Feel free to add vegetables to the beef mixture.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
