Ingredients
For the Pork Chops
- 4 pork chops (1 to 1 ¼ inch thick), boneless or bone-in
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp melted unsalted butter (optional)
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
For the Pan Sauce (Optional)
- ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
Heat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet or lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Pat pork chops dry. Stir together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning. Rub chops with olive oil and melted butter, then coat with seasoning on both sides.
Place seasoned chops on the prepared pan, leaving space between each one.
